Fatal Promises will be screening at the 2012 BITHAR Film Forum in Boston, MA.
This groundbreaking forum will consider the role of film in advancing women’s rights and recognize the many governmental and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) efforts to combat sex trafficking.
The forum will merge filmmakers, academics, and activists to engage in discussion and critical analysis of the industry and the efforts to combat it with the aim of understanding the phenomenon on all levels, from theory to practical solutions and law.
Director Kat Rohrer will be in attendance for a post screening Q&A.
